Archive: Valmikipuram Pavithrotsavams, October 24–26, 2026

TTD had announced the annual Pavithrotsavams at Sri Pattabhirama Swamy Temple in Valmikipuram, Annamayya district, from October 24 to 26, 2026. This programme concerns Valmikipuram, not Tirumala.

Announced programme by day

  • October 24: Pavitra Pratishtha and Snapana Tirumanjanam.
  • October 25: Pavitra Samarpana.
  • October 26: Maha Purnahuti and Chakrasnanam, followed by the deity's Tiruchi street procession in the evening.

The original announcement did not give exact daily start times. The later conclusion report described the final-day rituals and listed the evening street procession at 5 pm.

Historical participation ticket

TTD stated that a ticket to participate in the Pavithrotsavams cost ₹300 and admitted two people. This is a festival-participation ticket, not a stated general temple-entry fee or a Tirumala darshan ticket.

The announcement did not specify a booking channel, sales deadline, age rules, remaining ticket numbers or accommodation arrangements. That announcement did not establish online booking, transport or accommodation entitlements. This historical fee is not a current ticket offer.

For future visits

The festival has concluded. Use current official notices for future events, and plan Valmikipuram as a separate journey rather than part of a Tirumala queue visit.
